Endoscopic Dorsal Ramus Rhizotomy - Seeing is Believing!Endoscopic Dorsal Ramus Rhizotomy is a revolutionary new technique for addressing non-radicular lower back pain. The goal is to cut the small branches of the dorsal ramus nerve that innervate painful facet joints in the lumbar spine - providing lasting pain relief for the patient.
The short Vertebris Spine Endoscope permits visualization of the anatomy, including the nerves around the facet joints, while the Bi-Tip Flextrode RF probe, deployed through the working channel of the Spine Endoscope, facilitates the ablation of the painful nerve branches. For the first time, the surgeon can confirm with direct endoscopic visualization that the nerve branches have truly been ablated.
