This innovative and versatile burr benefits surgeons by allowing them to access and resect bony areas of the spinal anatomy with an articulating tip, all under direct visualization.

The TipControl passes through the working channel of Richard Wolf’s 4.1 mm Vertebris Spine endoscopes and is available in two different working lengths. This unique design offers surgeons the flexibility to use the TipControl in both the interlaminar and transforaminal approaches. For example, the shorter burr (290 mm) can be used in the interlaminar approach to resect the lamina to treat central stenosis and/or resect the facet joints to treat lateral stenosis. Enlargement of the foramen to relieve pain from foraminal stenosis is possible using the longer burr (350 mm) via the transforaminal approach.

Thumb Lever Control Articulating Tip—Surgeons control tip articulation to reach the spine anatomy they need. The lever also locks to reduce thumb fatigue during surgery.

Disposable Burr Inserts—Users are guaranteed maximum burr sharpness every time with a sterile-packaged, disposable burr insert.

Autoclavable Housing—The housing of the TipControl system is autoclavable, ensuring a low cost of ownership.

Multiple Versions Available—Two lengths are available to accommodate transforaminal (350 mm) and interlaminar (290 mm) surgical approaches. Also, a version of each length can be ordered to fit the Richard Wolf Power Stick M4 or M5 Shaver Handpiece to accommodate new and existing users.
