Laparoscopy / ThoracoscopyEquine laparoscopy is becoming more and more important. The minimally invasive procedure offers many advantages in abdominal surgery which are not possible with conventional open surgery techniques.
In relation to a variety of indications, laparoscopy opens up the option to operate on the standing horse. This minimises the OP risk, as no general anesthetic needs to be administered. Most endoscopic operations in the abdomen can be performed under local anesthetic.

• Tissue biopsy from organs Thoracoscopical surgeries such as pleuropneumonia can also be done on the standing horse. Our instruments furthermore allows treating adhesions. For thoracoscopy the laparoscopy instruments are used, too.
