There is an ever increasing interest and quick progress in small-animal arthroscopy. Such progress has only been possible thanks to the development of small-diameter arthroscopes and the corresponding auxiliary instruments.

Arthroscopic surgery in small animals has also undergone an enormous further development. Over the past few years osteochondrosis (OCD) in the shoulder joint as well as OCD and FPC of the ellbow joint using a simple triangle technology have been become routine operations.
