Vaginoscopy, Artificial Insemination
Vaginoscopy is indicated in the case of pathological changes of the vagina, bleeding, circumferencial growth, and congenital malformation. Further indications are suspicion of foreign bodies, tenesmus vesicae, incontinence or artificial insemination of female.
The two Compact Endoscopes can also be used for vaginoscopy. The instruments with outside diameters of 3.5 mm and 5.5 mm are equipped with two irrigation channels and a large instrument channel of 1.65 mm / 2.3 mm for the use of flexible biopsy forceps and holding forceps.
The oval irrigation and probe channel allows efficient irrgation. The Compact Endoscopes have an angle of view of 25° and a working length of 160 mm or 225 mm. The atraumatic distal end allows gentle passage in the urethra. Vaginoscopy Procedure:![]()
